Friends to IndieBeat and Alt Rising Acts Inner Outlaws are back with the latest song off their Year of the Outlaw initiative, releasing a new song each month in 2015. King of Nothing is another stellar showcase of the group's psych rock aesthetic that blends innovative elements of various indie genres to create a more exploratory vibe. With a more rock foundation, this track is reminiscent of Thickfreakness era Black Keys, but soon takes on that unique IO charm with a breakdown full of soul in a euphoric jazz-type soundscape. It's another incredibly defined and refined addition to their growing discography.
