French-speaking Londoner Saint Clair has just released her debut single entitled Sailing. The anonymous artist is influenced by the work of Son Lux & James Blake, and is bolstered by her previous stints singing alongside the likes of Kwabs and Ghostpoet. The stunning track is a perfect combination of smooth and succulent vocals over R&B infused electro-soul, in the style of genre forgers Marian Hill, Air Life, and Cathedrals. Reminiscent of Mary J. Blige in the strength and mysteriousness in her tone, Saint Clair shares cerebral atmospherics that make for an encapsulating soundscape for the mind to sail on. The album artwork depicts it best: the track is classic and alluring, warm and ornamented, colorful and intruiging. Watch out for more amazing Neo-Soul from the incredible newcomer Saint Clair.
