Remember Alt Rising Act The Haze? We described their music as "psych-adjacent hard rock [that] captures an infectious energy with their anxious and passionately angsty sound aesthetic." Well the group rebranded earlier this year to form WHYTE LYTES, and their sound followed suit by adapting their classic-rock angst into a more bright alternative drive. The group is releasing their debut single under the new moniker, entitled Go Get It (out July 1st), and IndieBeat has the US Premiere preview of the track. The song takes their previous aesthetic and adds a more refined alt-rock sound, remaining classic yet fresh. Complete with a reverberating breakdown, scratchy riffs, and and spunky groove, the new single is reminiscent of heyday Rolling Stones blended with 90s era Red Hot Chili Peppers. UK blogs are noting the single's edgy swagger, and we have to agree--it's an enticing song that makes back-to-basics rock a modern treat.

Alt Rising Acts Raw Fabrics released a new single off their upcoming EP this week, and it's as awesome as it gets. Move Over is reminiscent of a vibe of both Neon Trees and The Strokes, but with an edgier and more contemplative sound. The track carries an anxiously guttural bass line with infectiously powerful vocals, patterned in a defined rhythmic texture that leaves you ruminating and revitalized. It's the reverberating rock anthem you've been asking for, packaged in an alternative radio hit. Move over, Raw Fabrics will not let anything drag them off their path of being the next it band in the ever-expanding alt scene.
