Western Canadian power pop band The Sylvia Platters have just released a new single off their upcoming debut album Make Glad The Day. The second single entitled Boeselagerstrasse is a fantastic transitional rock track, blending sensitive 90s alt rock and a Replacements inspired coastal deutschepunk, to form a warm throwback vibrancy with a forward edge. "It's not quite, but almost a love song," as it carries something inviting and sensory that seems to fit right in with the changing seasons while paralleling the bright and enticing nature of the album's artwork. Between this track and their debut Reelin' In The Years, great things are expected for Make Glad The Day, which is bound to make listeners glad on that November record release day.
