If the artist's name seems familiar, you may heard WOOF. featured on our last Obsession Mixtape with Baba. We've previously described his sound aesthetic as "an edgy unpredictable joyride with a cogent melodic vision as the driving fuel. When something so finely crafted seems ingeniously improvisational, you know you have a stellar hit on your hands." The same can be said of Kelan Bonislawski's newly released single entitled Faultline, a psych-soul fusion of electro-infused indie rock. If Jason Schwartzman was still pumping out amazing tracks under his solo moniker Coconut Records, I'd imagine this is what it would sound like. With a cerebral energy that makes you both ruminate and shuffle, the Beck influence is apparent. Mystically stimulating, this is the perfect summer jam for those of you looking for something more exploratative.
